Kavod haRav, regarding owning and keeping (small) decorative sculptures or figures of animals (or even human figures) in the house, I was taught that it is a problem given it can appear like idol worship however if there is a visible chip/break in the figure then it is allowed given the image is not complete. Is this true? If so, is a visible scratch enough or does it have to be an actual chip/break?

A – Animals are fine. Humans not allowed unless they don’t have all the limbs
Q – Is it sufficient to break off the nose?
