If you daven in a minyan that does hetzi kedusha for shmonei esreh, should you start Amonai Sfatai with the chazzan or after he says Hakel hakadosh?

Is one allowed to say Kedusha if he started his amidah a few minutes before the hazan started his repetition ( saying the first two berachoth very slow)?
