If someone buys a home from a Jewish owner and has to take off the mezuzas for renovation, can he put them back without any additional bracha or action ?

How frequently must one have their mezzuzot checked if they are strictly indoors only?

When one takes mezuzot to be checked should they make sure to get loaner mezuzot to place on their doorways or is it allowed to not have mezuzot up while they’re being checked?
