The Shulchan Aruch rules that one who acquires meal vessels of metal or glass from a non-Jew must immerse them in a mikveh or spring of forty se’ah, even if they are new. The Rambam likewise requires immersion for glass vessels used for eating and drinking, and he names flasks used for cold drinks. The Kitzur Shulchan Aruch adds that such glass vessels may not be used at all, even for cold food, until they are immersed. A glass baby bottle is a glass vessel used for drink, so it needs tevilah.
