My mothers yahrtzeit is the same night as a VERY good friend’s daughter wedding. In addition to being a good friend, she is an almanah as well for only a year (around 50 years old). Being that we are so close and she is an almanah, am I allowed to go to any or all of the wedding?

You may go to the wedding.
If possible you should not eat by the wedding. If you must eat, it is better to eat on the side. If that too is not possible, you may partake in the wedding meal like usual.
