Guideline in the Workplace

Hi, part of my job involves supervising ladies who are working with children to make sure they are working correctly, am I allowed to look at them or would it be more appropriate to try to look to the side, and does it matter if they are dressed properly or not?

Hi,

Optimally, it is best not to take jobs that involve working with women if you need to be watching them. This comes from the halacha in Shulchan Aruch that a man should not be responsible for women, nor be the boss of women. (See shulchan aruch even ha’ezer siman 22 seif 15 and 16.)
Once you are in this position, you should do your job properly, and take care not to look out interact more than necessary for your job.
Best of luck!
