Rabbi, I take meds for depression/anxiety. The med is not on Rabbi Blumenkrantz’s list (only other companies). May I take it on Pesach? (I’m chassidish) Thank you!

You may take the medication on pesach. Swallowing a pill is not considered a normal way of eating, and the pills themselves are inedible. Because of this, if one must take a medication, even if it has actual chametz in it, it is permitted. If an equally effective non-chametz pill is available, it is better to take that pill. Equally effective should be a decision made b a doctor.
