We have inherited wine glasses from Jewish family who did not keep kosher. They have not been used for many years, possibly decades. The glass is extremely fragile, and would have never encountered heat. Can we use them for Pesach? Do we need to do anything first?

The wine glasses may be used by a sefardi but not by an ashkenazi. There is no way to kosher them for Pesachfor an ashkenazi.
