In a sukkah How much gap is allowed from the ground to the wall, i.e. A canvas sukkah where the canvass doesn’t touch the ground but there is a gap between the bottom of the canvass to the ground—how much gap is allowed?

Regarding the walls of the sukka, if one string to the next string is more than three tefachim, is the suka still kosher?
