Kvod harav I know that if I touch shoes I can’t hear Divrei Torah, am I also not allowed to make a Bracha unless I wash netila?

Are we allowed to accept and wear used shoes from another Jew? I heard it is not ok, but I’m not sure why? Thanks so much.
