Can we have a seudah mitzvah without bread? Or it must only be with bread? Like seudah of Rosh Hodesh? Shabbat also or only Purim and Brit Mila?
Machloket. Magen Avraham says no need for bread (regarding Rosh Hodesh, Purim, Brit Milah) and mor uktsia argues. Regarding Shabbat, Shulchan Aruch says that the 2 Shabbat seudot must be with bread.
