My leichter (candlestick) and tray used to stand on my kitchen table, but I now keep them on an end table. Can I use them for Pesach?
Using a Candlestick and Tray That Stood on the Kitchen Table for Pesach
Question
Answer
Wash them and use them.
Sources
The Shulchan Aruch rules that any utensil, even an earthenware one, that came into contact with chametz only when cold may be used on Pesach, even for hot matzah, without any kashering (other than the special cases of a sourdough or charoset container). A candlestick and tray that stood on the kitchen table never had hot contact with chametz. At most they touched crumbs when cold, so they need no kashering. Washing them off is enough, and then they may be used.
